When booking your photography session, we'll discuss the best location based on what you'd like to get from your session, as well as the time of day you're booking. This helps us choose a setting and lighting that complement the style and feel you're looking for. There are primary locations I have as listed below, but if you have a location in mind, please feel free to request.

Field

Fields are a lovely choice for photography because they give your session a simple, natural feel. The open space, long grass and changing seasons create a beautiful backdrop without taking attention away from you. They're perfect for relaxed photos where you can explore and simply enjoy being together, rather than feeling like you have to pose for every image. Fields also look especially beautiful in softer evening light, giving your photos a warm, natural glow and helping to capture those genuine, in-between moments that make your gallery feel personal and authentic.

Woodland

Woodlands are a beautiful choice for photography if you're looking for something natural, peaceful and a little more intimate. The trees, greenery and natural textures create a lovely backdrop that changes with the seasons, while the paths and open spaces give us plenty of opportunities to capture you naturally as you explore and spend time together. The light filtering through the trees can also create soft, gentle images with lots of depth and warmth. Woodland sessions are perfect for capturing relaxed moments that feel authentic, rather than overly posed. Please note that woodland is not advised for evening shoots due to limited lighting.

Water

Water locations, whether it's a peaceful lake or the open beach, are a beautiful option for photography sessions. They offer a natural, relaxed setting with plenty of space to splash around and capture moments as they happen. Lakes can create an intimate feel, with reflections, surrounding greenery and softer colours, while the beach gives a more open, airy and adventurous feel with sand, waves and natural movement. Both work beautifully at different times of day, especially around golden hour, when the light becomes softer and warmer. Water is a great choice if you want your photos to feel natural, relaxed and full of atmosphere.

Urban locations are a great option for photography if you're looking for something a little different, modern and full of character. Streets, buildings, architecture, alleyways and colourful details can all create interesting backdrops, while the atmosphere of the city can help your photos feel natural and full of life. Urban sessions are perfect for walking around, exploring different spots and capturing genuine moments as they happen, rather than staying in one place. They can work particularly well if you want your photos to have a more relaxed, contemporary feel with a mix of simple portraits and candid moments.
