Terms & Conditions
Payment Terms:
Payment must be made in full by the day of the photography session. No photos will be secure without full payment.
Cancellation & Rescheduling:
The booking fee of 25% is non-refundable but may be transferred to a new date if rescheduled with at least 48 hours’ notice. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice may result in forfeiture of the booking fee. In the event of photographer weather, illness or emergency, the session will be rescheduled at no additional cost.
Session Expectations
The Client is responsible for ensuring their pet is well-behaved and under control during the session. If the pet becomes severely aggressive or uncontrollable to the point of my safety being compromised, the Photographer reserves the right to end the session for safety. Clients are encouraged to bring treats, toys, and any items that will help their pet feel comfortable, and the photographer will do her best to work at your pet's pace and give them as much space as possible. Please ensure you remove dog harnesses and use thinner collars/leads/slip leads to ensure my ability to edit these out as naturally as possible.
Image Delivery
A full preview gallery of images for you to select from will be provided within 4 weeks, and fully edited images will be provided 4 weeks after this, but I do keep you updated throughout. RAW or unedited images without watermarks will not be provided under any circumstances.
Artistic Rights
The Photographer retains full creative control over the final images and editing style. Client preferences will be considered, but artistic judgment will not be a reason for refunds or re-edits, as you are choosing me based off my style and what I produce.
Copyright & Usage
The Photographer retains copyright ownership of all images. The Client receives a personal-use license, allowing them to print and share images for non-commercial purposes. The images may not be altered, sold, or used commercially without written permission. The Photographer may use images for portfolio, marketing, website, or social media unless the Client requests in writing not to.
Liability & Weather
The Photographer is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage sustained during the session. The Client assumes full responsibility for their pet and any individuals present at the session. If weather conditions are not suitable for the session (torrential rain, extreme heat, storms, etc.), the Photographer will offer a rescheduled date at no additional cost.
Model Release
The Client grants the Photographer permission to use images of the Client and their pet(s) for promotional and portfolio purposes, unless otherwise stated in writing.
By booking a session with Zephyr Dakota, you agree to these Terms and Conditions in full.
